What is GONT?
GONT is the fork of the Ethereum platform with the revolutionary virtual machine GONT VM.
GONT VM is the world's first multicore virtual machine for Ethereum, which solves the task of computational sharding and extends the economy of the platform through the introduction of alternative gas for each user's virtual machine core.

The aim of GONT technology is to solve the problems of computational sharding and chain sharding for virtual machines of blockchain platforms using the creation of a new multicore virtual machine — GONT VM. In addition to reducing transaction cost and accelerating blockchain transactions, GONT significantly expands the ecosystem of the Ethereum platform, including building of integration «bridges» on other platforms (NEO, Waves, EOS).

In the final implementation, GONT will be soft or hard fork from Ethereum. But GONT also supports backward compatibility with all formats of smart contracts on Ethereum anytime (to protect the investments of developers Ethereum).

GONT VM looks like one "more powerful" Ethereum EVM. But GONT VM consists of many separate gVM cores, that interact with each other. In this case GONT VM is compatible with several blockchains due to the internal multicluster device.

GONT VM is a resource, divided between independent chains of blockchains — a container of virtual machines (for example, Ethereum and NEO can separate one container for transactions). Also, more than two blockchains can share one gVM. This is possible due to the technology of the channels G-Channels.

The interaction between gVM in the GONT VM container is built on special «channel» principles.

GONT Ontology Tree is a tree of global meanings, laid down in a hierarchical structure.

Each path in this tree is the meaning. Any meaning in GONT can be a transaction, i.e. GONT Ontology Tree describes all possible transactions and their meanings through a tree structure.

Thereby, we introduced a lot of meanings, which are possible in chains of transactions, for all blockchain-chains (because GONT VM is shared resource).

Since the value of AlGas is based on the commission of the owner of GONT VM, it is the basis of the economic system and the monetization model of GONT.
Millions of digital values such as expertise, articles, photographs and design are laid out every day on such services as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others. What is the essence of GONT technology?
GONT is a BC platform for mass services, which can also consist of a huge number of microservices that perform real "physical" or "intellectual" work. And this is a stable basis for introducing a new stable crypto currency.

Besides,GONT introduces the mechanics to account for performance (перформансе) of all microservices through the service gas technology of virtual machine cores. We call it Algas. Thus, GONT takes away the "monopoly" (монОполи) for the creation and development of the gas economy from Ethereum.This makes the decentralization (дисентрилазейшин) more strong, making services economic entities, not objects. Services themselves participate in determining the cost of gas and its technological complexity.
What is the essense of the Algas approach?
The goal of GONT is to engage in crypto economy new business essenses, which were previously outside any economy.

Services can consist of a variety of microservices & microservices generate work through AlGas.
This also leads to the renewal of the microstates of the BC, which affect the global state of the BC.

The transfer of the service to a new microstate is accompanied by the consumption of AlGas.

How specifically GONT proposes to solve the task of sharding?
The main principle is the creation of a new virtual machine for blockchain - GONT VM consisting of an infinite number of GVM cores.

The general direction of the GVM approach to sharding is the unloading of the state tree (or it often called World State) BC

At loads of 10 thousand transactions per second (this is the goal of sharding in Ethereum) - the load on the state tree will be excessive.

Ok. Lets Divide WorldState into two logical parts.

With STORAGE (this could be A)

Without STORAGE (this could be B)

The states in the B - tree are confirmed only at creation and do not change any more (there is no Storage, etc.).

The states of the B - tree indirectly participate in changing the state of the entire BlockChain by creating a new GVM.

Advantage of the approach

The long channels of transactions (GONT channels) inside the GVM can themselves be state triggers (триигерс).

Prefix (прификс) encoding of transaction information Decreases informational entropy (энтропи). Its More efficient for compression of states.

Not all transactions can change the state of the Blockchain, but only TR, registered as allowed - through GONT Tree. GONT Tree accumulates all the descriptive information about transactions and serves as a specific "Oracle of transactions", which also reduces the load on the chain.

The channels can conveniently display the business logic of decetralized Apps in the Ether.

If you can increase the number of transactions per second, you also need more disk space. What is the policy of disk sharding in GONT?
More disk space you need because the frequent blockchain State update. And the State is starting to explode in size and everything crushes (and Buterin always articulates this).

The solution of GONT is a smart GVM container and the innovative transport system inside the GVM (I will release a special doc about it soon).

So the GVM will release the Blockchain State from keeping everything at a speed of 10000tps. GVM will start keeping the states "on the fly" (until they're really ready to be commited into the Blockchain or the sidechain in Plasma) and the "GONT smart transport system" will accelerate the transactions as well.

So the "smart sharding" is just a matter of keeping the balance between keeping the states in the Blockchain (long expensive operation) or in GVM container (much quicker and less disk space - it's a memory operation).

The Container must be created as a really fast and reliable "black box".

You said that that GONT architecture has been developed along the lines of modern multiprocessing computers. Does GVM target x86 server or arm for mobile device? And is there any plan to support GPU?
Through the so called "FUPE space" we're going to support all known processor architectures (both "desktop" and "embedded" processors)

FUPE is conceived to support all innovative and known forms of processor architectures.
How can multi cores approach improve network capacity?
We're going to launch some custom routing tasks. Also GONT innovative transport system will provide the acceleration of the packets.
What is kernel GVM? and Is GVM based on PoW? If so, how can a miner participate in GVM?
"Proof of Work" is more about who will start creating a new block in the chain. But any miner can accrue the money from processing the transactions as well. So the miner will be keeping the bit GVM container, will be processing millions of transactions daily and finally will be much richer than a normal "hosting provider in the normal DC"

Proof of Work or Proof of Stake - both are welcome into GONT.
What are the difference between GOL and Solidity?
GOL now is at the stage of describing the single instructions semantics to generate the gVM core.

It's like a normal ADL language right now (like nML, ppDL, LISA from LISATek/Coware/Synopsys, etc)

I'm going to include into GOL some functional language operators and we can release it into the public domain as a "GONT smart contract language".
